Kansas City Feastival – Summer

This year’s Forks & Corks event, Feastival, will feature three events all under the Union Station roof: a Friday night dinner served by top KC chefs, a Saturday brunch with samples from the city’s hottest brunch spots and a giant volunteer event where we’ll pack bags for the food insecure.

Stamp Out Hunger

Stamp Out Hunger – May

The Letter Carriers’ “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive—the nation’s largest all-volunteer one-day food collection effort—is held annually on the second Saturday in May. Carriers collect nonperishable food donations left at mailboxes and in post offices and deliver them to local community food banks, pantries and shelters. Nearly 1,500 NALC branches in all 50 states are involved. This amazing community food drive has delivered more than one billion pounds of food the past 25 years!

Hunger Action Month – September

Join Harvesters for Hunger Action Month, a month where people all over the United States stand together with the Feeding America network to fight hunger. It’s a month to spread the word and take action on the hunger crisis — and dedicate ourselves to a solution. Will you take action with us?

Topeka Feastival

Topeka Feastival – Fall

Topeka Feastival isn’t just a ticket to the best food and drink pop-up in town. It’s a ticket to making a difference. Hunger is a behemoth of a problem for thousands in our region every day. Join and help us devour the beast – after all, it takes a village to feed a city. Give in, give big and consume for a cause at FEASTIVAL BRUNCH!

Canstruction – Winter

See amazing structures built entirely out of canned food and other nonperishable items. Teams of architects, engineers and contractors compete against each other to create amazing structures. When the exhibits close, the food is donated to Harvesters and is distributed to hungry families, children and seniors in our community.

Harvesters for the Holidays – Winter

There’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than by giving back! Whether you volunteer, prepare holiday meal boxes, give Recipes for Hope or participate in any of our other events, you can make a difference for local families during this season of giving.

Help us meet the Mabee challenge to receive $2 million!
