Become an Ambassador

Ambassadors help us with a variety of projects. It could be anything from speaking with a group about hunger, providing tours of our facilities, facilitating learning activities, or leading a food drive or volunteer project.

Ambassadors help us expand our reach and impact in the community! We will provide you with training and current messaging (talking points, scripts, social media posts, etc.) about how we address these issues as well as statistics to educate the community. If you have professional skills and a desire to engage others in our mission, this opportunity may be perfect for you!

Harvesters’ Ambassador program is a one-year commitment, based on our fiscal year (July-June). Participants are required to commit to 24 hours of service each term. Ambassadors will be asked to complete an activity preference and interest list and a skills set inventory so staff can facilitate an appropriate and meaningful match to projects, opportunities and actions.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of 24 hours of involvement with Harvesters during the previous year. Preference is given to applicants demonstrating sustained involvement and that have made an effort to volunteer in several of the following activities, or a significant effort in one or more of the following: warehouse volunteer, other on-site volunteering (Agency Services, Fund Development, Front Desk, Cargo Van, etc.), off-site food collection, fund drives, off-site events, advocacy, or other special projects.
