Harvesters’ Hunger Fighters

Harvesters has a group of volunteers who have taken their engagement to a higher level and become Harvesters Ambassadors. Through speaking engagements and special project leadership, Ambassadors provide enhanced levels of support for Harvesters’ mission. Ambassadors help create greater awareness and understanding of food insecurity in our community and how Harvesters works to meet that need.

What Ambassadors Do

Ambassadors help us with a variety of projects. It could be anything from speaking with a group about hunger, providing tours of our facilities, participating in special events, facilitating hunger education, or leading a food drive or volunteer project. Ambassadors are important to Harvesters’ efforts to expand our reach and impact in the community! We will provide you with training and current messaging (talking points, scripts, social media posts, etc.) about how we address these issues as well as statistics to educate the community. If you have a desire to engage others in our mission, this opportunity may be perfect for you!
