Volunteer Guidelines
In order to ensure the safety of the people we serve, staff, and volunteers, and to make sure that everyone has a good and productive time, please follow these guidelines when you visit our facilities:

All volunteers must be 8 years of age or older.

Close toed shoes (all parts of the foot must be covered) and long pants (no shorts, skirts or dresses) are required. Dressing in layers is recommended, even during the summer. Some activities may require hair nets and other food safety garments.

Please leave all valuable jewelry at home. This includes rings which may come off in the packing process.

No food or drink is allowed in the warehouse. In order to meet health and safety standards, any outside beverages or food must remain in the volunteer break room.

Please refrain from using cell phones or headphones during your volunteer shift.

Volunteers must wash hands with soap and water before and after each volunteer shift. We ask that volunteers please be free of any contagious illness (runny nose, colds, the flu, strep throat, etc.). If you don’t feel good, we ask that you please join us at another time. Thank you for helping us keep our communities healthy!
