In order to ensure the safety of the people we serve, staff, and volunteers, and to make sure that everyone has a good and productive time, please follow these guidelines when you visit our facilities:

Please Wear A Mask

Based on current guidance from the CDC, masks are required for everyone inside our facilities. This includes people who have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

All volunteers must be free of any contagious illness (runny nose, colds, the flu, strep throat, etc.). If you don’t feel good, we ask that you please join us at another time.

In addition, all volunteers must sign a COVID waiver when checking in. At this time, we are unable to have volunteers with special needs or who require accommodations.

16+

At this time, all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Clothes

Close toed shoes (all parts of the foot must be covered) and long pants (no shorts, skirts or dresses) are required. Dressing in layers is recommended, even during the summer.

Jewelry

Please leave all valuable jewelry at home. This includes rings which may come off in the packing process.

Food

No food or drink is allowed in the warehouse. In order to meet health and safety standards, any outside beverages or food must remain in the volunteer break room.

Phones/Headphones

Please refrain from using cell phones or headphones during your volunteer shift.

Wash Your Hands

Volunteers must wash hands with soap and water before and after each volunteer shift.

Harvesters is committed to providing an environment free from harassment. Harassment of any kind, including harassment on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, gender, age, mental and/or physical disability, medical condition, national origin, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation or other characteristic protected under federal or state law or local ordinance will not be tolerated at Harvesters.
