Oh there’s no place like Harvesters for the Holidays! The holidays are such a special time, regardless of how you choose to celebrate. This holds true for the and 1 in 11 people or 1 in 8 children facing food insecurity in our service area. During a season filled with giving, please don’t forget to include them on your holiday list. There is no shortage of ways to give back whether it’s gifts of food, time, or money, your gift will truly impact the lives of our neighbors.

Crate & Barrel invites customers to donate at the register and online. 100% of funds raised in-store will benefit the food banks where the purchase was made. Additionally, Crate & Barrel will donate $10 from every purchase of the Papa Leo’s Past Ornament set to Feeding America. Learn more now!

Holiday Fundraiser

Jersey Mikes Holiday Fundraiser

Make a difference while enjoying a great tasting sub! Jersey Mike’s will be donating 20% of all restaurant sales made on November 18 and 19 to fight hunger! Feeding America will do a 90/10 split between benefiting food banks serving participating restaurant zip codes and Feeding America National Office. Turkey Tuesday Community Challenge

The Kansas City Royals are collecting turkeys, nonperishible food items and toiletries in partnership with The Know Joey? Foundation for youth and families in urban Kansas City. Donations can be dropped off at the Urban Youth Academy on Tuesday, November 21. HyVee Holiday Hope Bags

Help bring hope to the holidays and spread smiles beyond the aisles by purchasing Holiday Hope Bags at your local Hy-Vee store. Each bag is $10 and includes everything needed to make traditional holiday side dishes, and will be delivered back to Harvesters to be given to a local family in time for the holidays. Holiday Train

CP Holiday Train

The Canadian Pacifiic Holiday Train is back for its 25th year supporting food banks and food shelves across our network by raising money, food and awareness for food insecurity issues. Come see the holiday train, enjoy a concert and participate in family friendly activities. Everyone is encouraged to bring a monetary or nonperishable food donation.
