Join Harvesters and the Kansas City Chiefs as they team up to “tackle” hunger during the Souper Bowl Week of Caring, January 30 - February 4.
Across the community, many families, including many working families, do not know where their next meal is coming from. Many others are making the difficult choice whether to “heat or eat,” deciding whether to pay for utilities or heat or buy food. Harvesters and the Kansas City Chiefs are calling on everyone in the community to help score a touchdown for the hungry by donating during this year’s Souper Bowl week.
Have a Souper Bowl party. Join the fun by hosting a food drive or simply ask guests to bring canned food donations to your Super Bowl party. Food and monetary donations brought to Harvesters through Friday, February 10, will be included in the week’s total.
Sign up to volunteer! Check out our volunteer opportunities during the Souper Bowl Weekend of Caring. Other volunteer opportunities in Kansas City and Topeka that week can be found here.
Donate to the Souper Bowl virtual food drive. Make a donation at souperbowl.harvestersvfd.org. With every $1 donated, Harvesters can provide three meals.
