For five weeks, local law firms and legal professionals come together for one purpose: to end hunger in this region, where 1 in 7 residents are at risk of hunger.
Join us April 2 - May 4 for a collaboration and competition between firms to fundraise, collect food and contribute volunteer hours for Harvesters! Last year, Food From the Bar provided more than 31,000 meals to the hungry in our community!
How it Works:
- Register your firm.
- We'll create your firm a virtual food drive page to utilize.
- Set a goal for how many pounds and/or dollars your firm will raise this year.
- Earn points for your firm, team or organization.
- Rally your co-workers to have fun and beat hunger.
How to Earn Points:
Every pound collected = 1 point
Every dollar donated = 3 points
Every volunteer shift = 50 points*
Any volunteer signing in with your team/firm name counts toward your total.
*Bonus points can be earned by attending the Food from the Bar Lunch & Learn March 7 (200 points), Register your team before March 16 (250 points) and double points on Bonus Volunteer Days (listed under Calendar of Events)
