The CPKC Holiday Train is back for its 27th year, supporting food banks by raising money, food, and awareness for people experiencing food insecurity \u2014 including right here at Harvesters.<\/p>\n

Decked out in festive holiday lights, the train will once again travel across the U.S. and Canada spreading cheer and supporting local food banks along the way. Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for food banks across Canada and the U.S.<\/p>\n

The train will arrive at Union Station in the afternoon, and a free concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Haverty Yards featuring Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde. Enjoy kids\u2019 activities and a visit from Santa!<\/p>\n

Everyone is encouraged to bring a monetary or nonperishable food donation to support Harvesters.<\/p>\n
