Tuesdays, Thursdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
Sundays By special arrangement

Are reservations required?
Yes. Please contact volunteer services at volunteer@harvesters.org or submit a volunteer interest form.

Do you require a minimum time commitment?
Yes, we ask that volunteers commit at least two hours.

How many people can I bring?
Harvesters can accommodate up to 200 people, based on availability.

Do you need individual volunteers?
Most definitely! We only request that you schedule your visit in advance.

Can young children volunteer?
Yes! We welcome children ages 6 and up, but do require adult supervision.
  • Ages 6 to 8 1 adult for every 3 children
  • Ages 9 to 11 1 adult for every 5 children
  • Ages 12 to 15 1 adult for every 10 children
  • Ages 16 and over no supervision required

Can you accommodate volunteers with special needs?
Yes. Please let us know about your individual or group’s special needs when making your reservation.

Can I bring food to donate?
Please do! Volunteers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for Harvesters when they come to volunteer. We have collection barrels to accept your donation. Check out our list of most-needed items.

Do you have refreshments available for volunteers?
We offer bottled water and canned sodas at no charge. Vending machines with drinks, snack items and meal options are available.

Can our group bring in lunch?
Yes you may, and Harvesters has several rooms available for your use.

What should I wear?
Harvesters encourages volunteers to wear casual clothing (jeans, shorts, t-shirts). Open-toed shoes (including flip flops and sandals) are not allowed. While the VOC is heated and cooled, it is a warehouse environment that is not as warm or as cool as a typical office or home. We suggest dressing in layers in the winter.

Are tours available?
We encourage your group to take a guided tour of Harvesters’ warehouse during your visit. Tours must be scheduled when making your reservation.
