Many Ways to Volunteer |
Volunteers bring their hearts and their hands to their work at Harvesters. And their work is vital to our common mission of alleviating hunger in our community.
Harvesters simply could not do the work we do without volunteer support. Hours spent by volunteers sorting food, assisting at special events or providing professional services translate into the work of approximately 64 full-time employees per year. Just one hour or afternoon of your time can make a difference!
Take a look at our volunteer opportunities to see what upcoming events might appeal to you. Let us know if you'd like to help by submitting a volunteer interest form.
PLEASE NOTE: Effective June 1, 2010, Harvesters' facilities are 100% smoke free. Smoking will not be permitted anyway on our premises. Thank you for your cooperation.
Are you interested in a full-time service opportunity? Check out the AmeriCorps programs at Harvesters. Applications for the AmeriCorps State Missouri program year, September 1, 2010-August 31, 2011, are being accepted at this time. Check back for updated information on the positions for the AmeriCorps State Kansas program year, October 1, 2010-September 30, 2011. |
