Please note: The Canstruction Preview Party scheduled for tonight (February 21) has been canceled due to inclement weather. It starts with one can. To feed the hungry. To lift the spirit. To change the world. Join us for the 10th annual Canstruction Preview Party to benefit Harvesters. Tickets are $15 now but $20 at the door. Canstruction, a design-build competion, showcases the talent of Kansas City's creative community as they create unconventional, astounding structures using only canned food and other non-perishable items. Be among the first to preview these amazing structures while taking the opportunity to vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Awards. These super-sized masterpieces will be judged in a variety of categories. Admission to the opening cocktail reception and awards ceremony is $20 at the door. Kids 12 & under are free. Contact Megan Hunter for additional information. Canstruction Exhibit, Feb. 21 - March 21. Teams are given just 12 hours to defy expectations, logic and gravity as they build fantastic sculptures from thousands of cans of food. These unconventional art exhibits will be on display Feb.21 through March 21 at Ward Parkway Center. Admission is free. When the show closes, the canned goods will be donated to Harvesters.
